German Federal Election Study 2005
("Bürger und Parteien in einer veränderten Welt")

Initiated by the German Society of Electoral Research (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Wahlforschung) and funded by the Social Science Research Center Berlin (WZB) the respondents of the Election Study 2005 "Bürger und Parteien in einer veränderten Welt" (ZA-no. 4332; principal investigators: Steffen Kühnel, Oskar Niedermayer, Bettina Westle) were re-interviewed after two years. The survey was conducted under the direction of PD Dr. Bernhard Weßels (WZB) and Prof. Dr. Steffen Kühnel (University of Göttingen) between fall 2007 and early 2008.

By courtesy of GESIS the dataset of the midterm panel survey (2nd panel wave) as well as a combined dataset of both waves (2005 and 2007/08) is offered here for download.
